-Improved!
I've noticed a lot of people I watch on DA are seriously starting to improve and I deeply admire it. Some people I've watched for a long time and watch their art work change dramatically! Some of you improved more then me! Good job!

Honestly, well done photographers! You really understand the concept of photography.
Those on DD have really earned a spot there.
Everyone thinks they are photographers.
"I can aim a camera"
"I am a model, I take my pictures in the bathroom."
"I can capture shadows"-
That's nice...
Well, you actual photographers are incredible! Your lighting, the mood, the cut and edit of your photos, it's marvelous. I also watch a few photographers that I know will make it big. They are on the road to greatness and with guidance they will get there.

-Don't relinquish!
I saw four artists this month alone "give up". They felt like they "couldn't draw"- Well, I'll tell you, I am far from a great artist but I am pushing hard for it. I know I've come a long way to give up now.
Practice makes perfect! Draw every day, use reference in your artwork until you learn enough on your own, develop a style, something that makes your art unique and then, give yourself a pat on the back.
Hold your chin up high and multitudes of doors will open at your feet.

Not doing it.
Simple reason to that would be, I am the one trading with myself.
Last I was told, art trades are: You draw for one, they give you a drawing back.
Funny, the "they give you one back" part. Now now, I know what I will hear, "You have more time then them, they will get it done." Note, some art trades I have were started in year 2008, how much time do you need? Obviously it was dropped or simply forgotten.
Here is the point, I'll start your drawing AFTER I get mine, lets be assured Klydekiss won't be wasting her time.

APH is almost everywhere now. I see it every single day on D.A popular.
I am being driven to psychopathy. It isn't wrong to make fan art but how much must you make for one manga?
I even spotted someone who made their own country just to make their own APH character, bravo, you are sooo original(Sarcasm). In my own opinion I still have not found a reason to like APH, they have cute characters but I am not laughing with their "jokes". Oh, he made a weird face...how funny, no.
I am still sitting down and trying to find what the fad is all about..

- Deleting deviantions.
I have not yet found a faster way to delete art from my page but if there was a picture you really loved and it isn't in my DA anymore, chances are I may have deleted it. Call it spring cleaning.

- Amazing artist in the shadows.
Come on DA, we have some incredible artist on this site, look for them! They are everywhere but no one really notices a master at work here. Stop looking up fan art, start looking up some original things. I found 5 incredible artist just by searching random keywords. Don't leave these original artist unrecognized.

-Anything you can do I can do better.
I can not stress this enough, art isn't a contest! Stop trying to be better then the other artist to show off. If you are a real artist, you will draw because it's your passion, not to gloat in other peoples faces about how you have more page views or that you can color so much better. Enough of the games, lets get real, no one in the real world will really care about that.

-Help me help myself.
Please help me improve my art, tell me how to do things better. Please, don't say "Believe in yourself". If you are queen of coloring tell me a few tips, if you are king of drawing hands give me some pointers, I'd really love that.

Got mean artist?
I think we all do, lately some artist on DA have been very snotty to fellow artists. Some people thinks opinion means to "down grade" other artist, I am sorry but that is incorrect. People who believe they are high up on the DA status tend to be the revolting type. They use their art work to show that they are better then other artists.
Art is not a competition, it is a talent, use your talents wisely and share your wisdom with others.

What is it to be popular on DA? I mean I'm fine being the common artist, I don't think I can keep up with the comments.Also my artwork sucks DUR. But what does popular truly mean?

All my years on DA and all I've all I've seen are typical art on deviants popular. I've run into artist that draw or take photos in an AMAZING manor! Yet only have 1,000 page views.
Well long ago I created a picture, It was princess peach and by god it was very ugly, and yet, I've received comments and favs... on art of a character that doesn't belong to me. So the question is. Do they like my art? Or the person I draw?

Lately I've seen a lot of Kingdom hearts, Emo, sailor moon, and Naruto on the popular. Why spend so much time perfecting ones art that's already perfected?
Once in a while I find a picture on DA's front page and I am TRULY With out a doubt amazed! But then I see fan art, and I'm all " Blah seen it before" To become popular.... I must draw someone else s art? I'm not saying that all popular art are fan art. I've seen some gorgeous photography. But if I'm on popular because of fans of shows that I didn't create....is it worth being on popular?

So I know your art doesn't have to be good-- but does it depend on what or who I draw?
